How do I create a wireless home network for sharing files and a printer?
December 27th, 2008
feed Nathan asked:
I am trying to create a file sharing network between a wireless desktop and hardwired laptop. Also later I may want to add another wireless laptop. I have given both computers the same workgroup name and run the windows home network wizard but I cannot connect to either computer. Neither one seems to recognize the other. I have heard some people talk about switches. If this is what I need to fix it please explain to me what a switch is and how hard it is going to be to set one up.

How do you access local LAN file VPN tunneling to another network?
December 20th, 2008
feed jumpingrightin asked:
I use a VPN tunnel to connect to a corporate IT remotely. However, I have a LAN which has a network printer on it. While connected with VPN tunneling to the corporate IT the local LAN doesn’t appear. How can this be accomplished so that while connect VPN remotely be able to still send to the local LAN printer? Can this be solved with software or would an additional piece of hardware be needed?

How to identify the computer from which Print command is issued in LAN environment?
November 13th, 2008
feed Amit M asked:
In a LAN environment suppose there are 50 computers connected to each other and one printer is attached to all of them as a Network Printer. Now if someone gives a print command (say about 20 pages) how do I find from the printer who has issued the print command. Is there any software available that will print in every page the name of computer and/or its IP address. Please reply
