How can I set up a home network wirelessly?

I bought a Linksys router and network card to configure a home network. My only concern now is to have a connection to the Internet from my second computer. I have an internet connection on my first computer. My question is: where does my network adapter? Should he go into a USB port on the second computer I want access to the Internet or should be inserted in my first computer that has Internet connection.

how to create a home network b/w a wired and wireless computer connected via router?

I have 2 computers, one wireless other wired, both connected via a Linksys WRT54G router. I want to transfer files between the 2. Both are running windows xp. When I try to create home network between the 2 computer, I am only seeing “Setup a wireless network for home or office”. How do I create a connection between these 2 computers when one is wireless other is not. Which setup should i run and on what computer, please be detailed.
