I bought a Linksys router and network card to configure a home network. My only concern now is to have a connection to the Internet from my second computer. I have an internet connection on my first computer. My question is: where does my network adapter? Should he go into a USB port on the second computer I want access to the Internet or should be inserted in my first computer that has Internet connection.

February 26th, 2010
feed I have DSL 1. 5 MBS. Is it fast enough so as to use VoIP and do not operate in a heap of trouble. I know I should be concerned with both speed up and down. I have heard some say that VoIP works very well while others say that the service drops calls or have poor quality. I think using VoIP to add an extra phone line for my small business, so you can call and in the United States. I can trust the service or should I go with a traditional landline? Also, does anyone know a good placn fixed long distance?

How can I set up a home network using the free wifi internet connection from the university’s hotspot?
January 20th, 2010
feed I can pick up the signal which is very strong at my home. I can individually connect on my 3 computers but I would like to be able to network them as well (for the shared printer and folders). It seems that I can only connect to one network or the other and if I connect to the home network I don’t have internet. Any ideas on how I could bridge thm together? Thanks!
Essentially my question is – can a router be set up to grab the free hotspot internet while all my machines are on a local home network with the router between my machines and the internet connection?
