I bought it on the great reviews, and ignores any consideration that I have read complain about the connectivity problem, because I'm pretty Savy technology. Now, after he tried the last two days, we would like to work, I have listened to the warning signs. I was tempted on the Linksys Web site to repair the connection, and tried all suggestions from Google search without success. The product is intended as a plug and play, well, it is absolutely not! The CD does not work with PC operating systems on my PC, but try this with my Mac network, in particular. My Airport Express-802. 11n router is able to see the bridge, and I can not be an IP address, but no matter what I do, or how many times I reset it, the bridge will not connect to my Canon printer. I waited half an hour to speak to a representative via instant messaging on the Linksys website, but they answered my questions, the only response that was the name of the operator and the number of crossing a personal identification number, regardless of what they once have entered, I could not read. Useless. I'm ebaying it tomorrow and instead of buying a 75 foot Ethernet cable. I want my Linksys lost support two days.

I bought this to my desktop of Windows Vista on my "N" network to connect to. First, I am only 45 meters from the router and I get that 25% (- 30% signal strength to my laptop, a 90% "No" signal strength). It creates the signal continuously. I had received my "G" network to a decent signal strength (80%). However, I lose on a regular basis and have to disconnect and connect the WET610N to get the connection again. I would not recommend to anyone.

  5. Linksys Wireless-N WET610N Ethernet Bridge with dual-band, this book describes itself as "working with … Macintosh … Computers. In a sense, yes, but the installation CD is not Mac-readable, as I discovered when I tried. I called technical support, and spent some time with someone who me through many steps, then said it can work only if I (more money to help with the older Linksys router and that the standard model G ') To change the settings. I refused to read written material, and decided to borrow a wireless laptop with XP. I put the installation CD, and then along, and now it seems to work OK. In my opinion, is the hard drive needed if you are trained only moderately like me. I think Linksys misrepresents the product suitability, at least above MAC w / his record to read. The tech said she did not know why the CMA could not read the disc is not – helpful, ultimately, even though they really tried.
