It works well and is very clear! We test it on a laptop and we assemble and we are always on the Internet without danger of being squeezed out of! Perfect. Wrong. As the days went from there, the Internet is very different. It is at best sporadic and I can not believe I cheated buying this router. I live in a house with three floors and walls are not so strong that the signal can pass through. I recently purchased the Belkin Wireless G router, I had for less than one days (luckily, the Bank has once again) in possession. The box says it should be Mac compatible, but it was certainly not. I installed, follow all instructions to a T-version of the software, and somehow the router is not working. I'm not a computer professional, but I set up networks before, and I could not find the problem. I switched to Windows (I run Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro) and the router has worked well. Connected and everything I even setting up the wireless network. . . On the Mac side that does not work. The X-Box I is directly connected without the router. Obviously it was not working on the Mac. I called tech support, it was not only clear outsourcing in India. They spent more time trying to get my e-mail address and telephone number, and then fix my problem, they could not. After an hour trying to resolve it with them, that would have done in 15 minutes, if it is simply someone who could speak English to make it clear they do not solve the problem. I went back to the router, switched to a slightly more expensive LinksysLinksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G2, and it worked perfectly in 5 minutes. BOTTOM LINE: Maybe it will not work for PC work, something about this product on a Mac. Spend the extra $ 20 and buy a Linksys.
