The more computers you have connected to your home network, the bigger your need for good tools to manage that network. Recently, I had a need to discover the IP address for Ponzi’s machine, and asked the community if they knew of software I could use.

honestly just buy some ethernet (aka patch cables) and use them to create a home network. Wireless is notoriously slow, unreliable and looses alot of data on the transfer – hence why your internet is always just that bit slower on the wireless laptop!
could i please get some help this is my first time setting up a home network and i have the BT HomeHub, now my pc with all my file and stuff on it is in the bedroom and is connected to the internet wirelessly, but i now have a laptop but wanna use all my files and music from my pc in the bedroom, other than uploading to an external drive every 5 seconds can i sum how access these files and if so how????
im running 8 so far, all but one is running win. xp the one this isn’t running xp is vista, and another program like the one he is talking about to look up the ips and stuff that is free that i use is called Netscan

how seeing whos conntected to websites? is that possible like you can see whos connected to your network?.
I have 24 PC (12 Ubuntu linux) 10 Windows 1 apple 1 FreeBSD and 12 (6 Ubuntu linux 2 Suse linux (proxy Server) 4 Server 2003 Server enterprise useing ISA Server on A Windows Doamin network And hosting my own website with my own DNS server) On top running VPN with ISA and Terminal Server with 8 1/2 mile range wifi routers (probobly the Most Advanced Home Network ) oh and 3 laptops
i have 2 laptop 1 PC 1 Iphone and a router
3 desktops pc’s, and 1 notebook here. and another desktop within a month (:
