how bout going to your network wiz.. read and follow the directions xp defalt is MSHOME vista defalt is WORKGROUP anyone one can tap in if you dont change this beware!!!!
someone can help me ? i have a wireless pc connection & i want to have my xbox 360 with an ethernet cable to my router if i do that & i set the settings of my pc (ipadres,mac,DLS-server & that stuff on configure network the connection to xbox 360 network fails… can someone help me ?

If I right click on my computer I don´t get system properties window, but my computer properties. I have to go into control panel to get to it.
