What does the clear command in config terminal mode in cisco pix do?

When i was in config terminal mode in my cisco pix, i had a brain lapse and typed clear. Does this reset all of my configuration or does that command need more arguments?

  1. “clear” in a Unix terminal generally blanks the screen and puts a fresh prompt at the top.
