   If your boss wants you to learn about Cisco routers and configuring them, then is a good place to start. They offer plenty of free to the world articles on their routers. However, an easier way might be to just have him enroll you in a local community/technical college that offers Cisco courses. This way you get a certificate and possible pay raise out of it as well.
