The differences between hubs, routers, Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and cabling were a mystery to me. But after much trial and error and built-up experience I managed to figure things out and some of that information I will share with you now.

How can I setup my wireless router as a wireless access point?

feed I see a lot of different ways to setup a wireless router as a wireless access point (to another router).
I have a U-Verse router and a netgear wireless router, is there anyway I can use the netgear router to pickup the wireless signal from the U-verse, and let me connect to the netgear router to receive internet?

feed I am trying to configure my Cisco 1841 router to connect to the Internet through a satellite dish. I am stuck.
All i need to know is what to do on my router. Sample config would be appreciated as well. I also want the outside world to access services such as web and ftp through the satellite connection
The connection is as follows
